Yes, I know, we saw a lot of lists with Firefox Add-ons for SEO, but I decide to create new one. Where is a difference, can you ask? Anwer is simple. There are no web designer add-ons in this list, just add-ons for hardcore SEO.

So, this is my list:

1. Google Toolbar: definitely is number one.
2. SEO For Firefox: one from the best add-ons for Firefox. You can see nofollow links on pages, check PR and backlinks direct from Google search results and more.
3. SeoQuake: add-on, which allows user to view a large number of SE parameters on the fly. Your choice if you like to dig in SE.
4. Alexa Toolbar: Shows the current site’s Alexa Traffic Rank. You can easy compare competitors by traffic.
5. Link diagnosis: This tool can show you all the important information about your competitor’s links.
6. Submit’emNow: you can submit your blog/site in directories direct from Firefox. Supplied with 700+ directory list.

Short list, isn’t it? But it’s really enough for daily SEO.

WARNING! Expired Domains: New Cheat

Few days ago I had looked for link exchanges. As usual, I started my search from DigitalPoint Forum. I must to say, that in the past years quality of link exchange offers has been dramatically decreasing and need to spend a lot of time to recognize cheats based on expired domains.

Lets to see one good example. I got offer to exchange with this page. URL was very strange for me, because I have a solid experience with Wordpess and know what does mean URL like that. When I visited the page, I saw some text, but not expected user registration form from Wordpress. Page even has assigned Page Rank.

Other pages on this site are very interesting also. Few examples: first (page is titled as “Free Consultation”), second (page is titled as “Software Scripts”). Do you see how look URLs of pages?

Nice idea for cheats, huh? Someone bought expired domain with assigned Page Ranks, made site, based on structure of previous site to save assigned Page Rank for internal pages and started receive good link via link exchange.

So how to recognize this cheat? There are few steps.

1. Is page have assigned PR?
2. Is page have Google cache?
3. Is page have strange URL?

So if you got at least on negative answer, I would recommend you reject link exchange offer, even it’s PR5+ page.
